Job description We currently have a vacancy for a highly professional individual with a proven track record of working within a maintenance related role within the commercial vehicle sector. The applicant should be able to demonstrate an excellent technical knowledge of working with commercial vehicles and managing/controlling key areas such as scheduling, cost control, supplier & customer management to a very high standard and delivering success. Includes 1 in 6 Saturdays. Experience of working in a commercial vehicle maintenance or rental related business is essential. Key Responsibilities: Take inbound calls and be the first point of contact for customer vehicle maintenance requirements. Manage legal compliance events for customers including MOT, service inspections and planning. Deal with roadside breakdowns and compliance events using extensive third party repair network. Schedule and deal with internal workshop/ bodyshop repairs. Manage VOR along with updates internally and to customers. Process maintenance documentation and ensuring all compliance is up to date Process invoices and PO requests efficiently Provide excellent service levels to all sales, rental and retail customers. Chase customer PO's for any chargeable works Organise breakdown recovery when required Attending customer meetings when needed to support rental service levels. Ensuring service levels are met. Experience, attributes & skills required: Experience in the planning and technical aspects of commercial vehicle events. Ability to build a strong rapport and communicate effectively internally and with customer base. Knowledge of supplier authorisation processes Knowledge and understanding of compliance/operator's licence requirements. Ability to effectively balance VOR/Costs through effective use of Nationwide suppliers Strong negotiator. Strong IT skills High level of enthusiasm for working together in a small team to achieve common goals and SLA
