We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Accounts Assistant to become a key part of a finance team. Working closely with the Financial Director, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily financial operations, managing subcontractor accounts, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing all aspects of the subcontractor purchase ledger, including reconciling invoices to payment certificates, processing invoices, and preparing CIS statements
* Processing payment transactions accurately and ensuring timely payments
* Handling incoming queries from both customers and suppliers professionally and efficiently
* Supporting Senior Management by preparing accurate and timely financial information
* Completing bank reconciliations and monitoring company cashflow
* Maintaining company records, schedules, and documentation
* Carrying out general administrative duties such as filing, organising paperwork, and maintaining internal systems
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
* Experience in a fast-paced finance environment, where meeting deadlines and working under pressure are part of the daily routine
* A solid working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts or similar accounting software
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
* A high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach to work
* A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to grow and develop within the organisation
