The large and inspirational Adult Therapies Service is delighted to share this exciting opportunity for a Therapy Technician to join the team at Weston General Hospital, working alongside other Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the Front Door Team across the Emergency Department (ED), Older Persons Assessment Unit (OPAU) and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU).

Within this role, you will support the delivery of a specialist Front Door Therapy service and form part of the wider medical pathway within the Medicine Division of Adult Therapy Services at University Hospitals Bristol.
The successful applicant will deliver a range of activities with patients, which will include providing hands-on care whilst assessing and implementing treatment plans with the aim of delivering early assessment and supporting admission avoidance from ED. They will hold their own caseload with support from senior colleagues and work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams at Weston General Hospital.
As part of your role with the Front Door Team at Weston General Hospital, you’ll have the opportunity to assess and treat a wide range of people to develop your skills and knowledge, and you will build relationships within the team with unique benefits such as:
