Full job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various welding techniques, including mainly MIG welding with TIG being adventurous. This role involves working with sheet metal and other materials to create high-quality components for our projects. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, possess excellent mechanical knowledge, a driving license enabling them to venture off to go fit welded metals for various sites. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Hourly Rate: £14.50p/h - £15.00p/h – with pay rate being reviewed at 12 weeks * Contract: Temp to perm. * Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday: 7:30am-1:30pm. Duties * Perform mainly MIG welding with TIG being adventurous. * Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials according to specifications. * Driving to local companies and fitting finished products. * Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble parts and products. * Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. * Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process. Experience * Proven experience in welding, particularly with MIG, and TIG welding techniques. * Familiarity with fabrication processes and the use of hand tools and power tools. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Experience working with Stainless Steel & Aluminium. * Experience working with sheet metal * Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. * Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous but not essential.
