Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding HR Specialist role in a leading global business standards organisation that values best practice, collaborative partnership, and diversity?
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who takes initiatives and can ‘hit the ground running’ with their HR advisory capabilities through influencing, coaching, and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency. The role involves managing employee relations (ER) cases, as well as role modeling the company culture, values, and behaviors.
You will work with the relevant HR Business Partner(s) in your business area to support and partner with Line Managers globally, providing HR advice, support, and guidance for all HR-related activities by applying your business knowledge to the specific situation. You will enjoy great flexibility and autonomy in your work, with excellent support across our HR community in our matrixed yet dynamic organization.
Location: Milton Keynes/Chiswick, London; Hybrid pattern of roughly 1 day in the office per week, subject to business needs.
To excel in this role, you have:
* In-depth knowledge of relevant employment laws, HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* HR experience within a matrixed organization, ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or relevant experience.
* Hands-on experience with restructures, change management, and recruitment.
* Experience supporting and leading HR projects and implementing new initiatives.
* Experience with HR system data, including compilation and utilization.
* The ability to research, analyze, and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion, negotiation, and rationalization.
* Approachable and personable with good active listening skills, an open mind, and empathy, while still being able to be firm when required.
* First-class listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse community.
