SAP Basis Specialist – 6-Month Remote Contract (UK)
We’re looking for an experienced SAP Basis Specialist to support a complex, enterprise-scale SAP landscape on a 6-month fully remote contract (UK-based).
Key Responsibilities
* Administer, maintain, and optimise a large-scale SAP landscape
* Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide occasional out-of-hours support
* Deliver upgrades, migrations, patching, and performance tuning
* Support new implementations and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP services with business needs
* Drive operational efficiencies and ensure compliance with IT governance standards
* Mentor team members and maintain clear technical documentation
Required Experience
* 5+ years’ hands-on SAP Basis administration
* Strong experience across ECC, IS-U, CRM, BW, PI/PO, BO/DS, Enterprise Portal, and Solution Manager
* Expertise with Linux and DB2 databases, including performance tuning
* Proven track record in SAP installations, upgrades, and support pack implementations
* Strong monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive issue resolution skills
* Solid Solution Manager experience (EWA, ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, RCA)
* Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and within teams
