Associate Director-UK Software Engineering – Test Analyst – User Experience
Fareham – Onsite – Up to £30,000 per annum + benefits package

They’re looking for a Test Analyst with a focus who can dive deep into user journeys, spot friction, and help shape a seamless product experience across multiple touchpoints.

Role Overview
In this role, you’ll test every aspect of the user journey—from onboarding and engagement to communication channels and platform interactions. You’ll proactively uncover issues, analyse user flows, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to make the product experience smoother, more intuitive, and more engaging.
Responsibilities
* User Journey Testing: Test the full end‑to‑end user journey across web, app, and all communication touchpointsemail, push notifications, installation flows, onboarding & off‑boarding).
* Identify and document bugs, friction points, and UX blockers affecting adoption or retention.
* Develop and execute UX‑focused test cases and scenarios.
* Proactively test all user‑facing elements to ensure consistency and quality.
* Data‑Driven Insights: Use data and user insights to identify high‑impact problem areas, analyse trends, behaviours, and feedback to uncover root causes of churn or reduced engagement, prioritise testing based on impact and business goals, and produce clear, actionable reports with recommendations for improvement.
* Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work closely with QA, Engineering, PS&A, Ops and wider product teams; communicate findings clearly and propose practical solutions; support UI/UX testing across all supported platforms; provide regular reporting to stakeholders and management.
* Testing & Quality Assurance: Maintain strong communication loops with Engineering and Operations to assist in defect resolution, update and refine test cases as the product evolves, and support strategic initiatives and cross‑functional projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience in UX testing, QA, or user‑focused product testing roles.
* Strong understanding of user journeys, usability principles, and user behaviour.
* Ability to analyse user flow data and identify patterns or problem areas.
* Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
* A proactive mindset: someone who spots issues early and thinks in terms of solutions.
