Role opportunity
Following our recent Ofsted rating, we are recruiting for exceptional Senior Social Workers to join the Assessment & Intervention Teams who are passionate about improving the lives of children & young people.
£45,339 - £50,726 per annum and a relocation allowance of up to £6,500, with an additional retention bonus of up to £10,000 over 3 years. Hybrid Working - full time 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities
* Respond to the needs of children through s47 child protection investigations or through s17 child in need assessments.
* Develop effective relationships with children and their families to identify needs and help develop plans to achieve change.
* Ensure that the voice of the child is at the centre of your work and use direct work tools to evidence the child’s voice in assessments and plans.
Role is based in a locality model focused on high-quality assessments and timely, evidence-based interventions, with progression through pre-proceedings/care proceedings towards permanency planning. This service strengthens partnership working with families in local communities.
About you
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
* ASYE completed.
* At least 2 years post-qualifying experience in a Children & Families setting.
* Experience working in a children and families setting with knowledge of minimum standards and promoting change in family life.
* Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions.
* Good knowledge of child development.
