Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an engineering/ technology buisness based in Rotherham on an exclusive basis. This varied role will look after two of the group's companies; totalling around £10 Million. One of the sites is based in Leeds, so there will be occassional travel to that site (approximtaely 1 day a week). All transactions are done at group, so this role will be more focused on the month end, FP&A and business partnering. They are currently looking for a Qualified/ Late Part Qualified Management Accountant to provide operational and strategic finance support to the Technology operating businesses, supporting growth projects and driving sustainable financial performance. Benefits will include: - Salary of up to £45,000 Car Allowance of £5,000 per annum 25 days holiday Stats Company pension 3 X death in service benefit Employee discount scheme Hybrid/ remote working Key Responsibilities of the role include: Managing Financial Performance Development and improve financial reporting and KPIs Monthly Divisional and Group Reporting Lead annual budget and quarterly forecast processes Drive financial improvement through reasonable challenge of the businesses Finance business partnering with operational stakeholders Seek to continually improve processes and drive efficiency into financial procedures Supporting Business Decision Making Reviewing Customer and Supplier terms and conditions highlighting risks/opportunities Support the business in commercial negotiations with customers/suppliers Support the prioritisation of investments and business cases with a focus on maximising return on investment Promote a data led approach to discussions with the divisional teams Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in the preparation of the 10-year Corporate Plan and quarterly forecasts Develop an understanding of the funding arrangements and control cash in line with budgets/forecasts/covenants Supporting with managing and chasing customer debt The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences: - Qualified ACCA or CIMA Manufacturing sector experience is advantageous but not essential Strong understanding of UK GAAP Strong communicator Good business partnering skills A full UK driving license is essential as you will be required to travel between the various companies Ability to demonstrate a business-savvy approach to data and its uses for companies An exceptional eye for detail The role would suit a recently qualified/ late part qualified accountant looking to make their next step in their Finance career and someone who is looking to work for a fast-growing group that can offer excellent career prospects.
