The Facilities Department is looking to recruit hardworking enthusiastic individuals to join our Cleanliness Service Team at Arrowe Park Hospital.
As a Healthcare Cleaning Professional, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of our hospital by maintaining excellent cleaning standards that provide a clean and safe environment for patients.
Responsibilities
* Perform general baseline cleaning duties, including mopping, vacuuming, damp dusting, cleaning toilets and bathrooms, and serving beverages to patients.
* Work bank holidays as required.
* Carry out specialised cleaning duties such as infection prevention and control cleaning when directed.
* Prioritise workload flexibly and adapt to changes, working in all areas of the hospital as instructed.
* Deliver customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Qualifications and Skills
* Flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload.
* Customer service skills; friendly and approachable.
* Reliable with good time management.
* Aware of infection prevention and control practices within a healthcare environment.
* Demonstrate core capabilities and behaviours of the role.
* Passionate about delivering high‑quality service.
* Cleaning experience desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
