An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Planning Enforcement Team. We have one full-time post available at either Trainee Planning Enforcement Officer or Planning Enforcement Officer Level. This position is permanent, 37 hours a week, based in Pembrokeshire.

Responsibilities
* Support Planning Enforcement Officers in investigating potential breaches of planning control.
* Assist with the full range of planning enforcement duties to develop skills for progression to a Planning Enforcement Officer role.
* Work closely with Planning Enforcement Officers and managers within the Planning team, receiving mentorship and development.
* Undertake a full range of planning enforcement duties under supervision, manage a caseload of investigations, and work with other departments to resolve breaches of planning control.
Qualifications
* Trainee Planning Enforcement Officer: Qualified to at least 3 A Levels or NVQ Level 3 in a related subject (Geography, Law, Construction or Protective/Public Services) and customer-facing experience in a front-facing role or similar environment.
* Planning Enforcement Officer: HNC/HND in Construction Management/Surveying or equivalent extended experience in planning enforcement or related discipline; advantageous experience in a planning-related role.
