Process Operator key responsibilities: Operations Management leads and integrates the efforts of a single team or multiple teams across all shifts responsible for all quality, safety, cost, reliability and quantity of the line or lines which make up the value stream. Responsible for sound people management, problem solving and project management skills. Is responsible for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods. Manufacturing Production focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis Process Operator skills and experience: Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) Workable Written and Spoken English Experience in an FMCG Manufacturing environment preferred but not essential. Experience from a similar role essential; you could have worked as a manufacturing operative; extrusion operative; machinery operative; factory operative etc. Flexibility, Team Player and Great Communication Skills What can you expect from Mars?
