Job Purpose:
To support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
*
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
*
Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely within the warehouse.
*
Maintain accurate records of stock movements using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
*
Perform regular stock checks and participate in inventory counts.
*
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
*
Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors promptly.
*
Follow all company procedures and policies, including health and safety guidelines.
*
Work as part of a team to meet daily performance and productivity targets.
Person Specification:
Essential:
*
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling role (desirable but not always required).
*
Good level of physical fitness – ability to lift and move items.
*
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
*
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
*
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
*
Attention to detail and high accuracy.
*
Willingness to work flexible hours or shift patterns if required.
Shift: Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am
Pay: £13.36ph (weekly pay)
