The role also involves managing and processing fault-related plant maintenance orders and scopes, supporting accurate cost allocation and timely payment. In addition, it provides an efficient and effective support service to coordinate all activities associated with the repair of HV and LV faults within the Operations function, while also handling fault and emergency overflow calls from the DCC to ensure timely response and support the achievement of key operational performance metrics.What you’ll be doingTo raise the appropriate Plant Maintenance Orders on an on-going daily basis to facilitate any work on the network.To raise and process within appropriate timescales the relevant paperwork to allow the raising of road opening notices/permits, e.g. within 2 hours of us starting to excavate on a fault.To raise and process within appropriate timescales the relevant planned notices and permits to allow planned works to commenceTo raise and process the relevant work instructions for our cable contractor partners on an on-going basis.To raise and process any requests for purchase orders relating to faults on the network.To process the necessary invoice for re-chargeable work.Liaison with contractors to ensure correct controls and monitors are in placeCo-ordination of field staff resourcesRaising, control and processing of appropriate operational paperworkRaising, control and processing of appropriate paperwork to ensure compliance with current legislationCollection of technical and non-technical information from field staff to ensure the accurate and timely passage of information to various internal staff and other business units.Preparation and dissemination of appropriate weekly and monthly reportsResponsible for dealing with faults and emergency overflow calls from the DCC to aid appropriate metrics.What you’ll bringKnowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.Developed customer service skillsGood interpersonal skillsExcellent telephony skillsExcellent time management skills.Developed negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of excavation and lay contract terms.Flexible approach, responding quickly and flexibly, where required, initiating change and supporting others.Ability to recognise unacceptable customer and business outcomes and therefore escalate responses to secure an appropriate resolution.Knowledge of relevant IT support systems and processes.Minimum CriteriaCustomer service skills and experienceCall handling experienceExperience working with Microsoft office packagesWhat’s in it for youAs well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
