Your role as a Traffic Safety and Control Officer (TSCO)
As a key member of our team, you will:
1. Oversee, monitor, and manage the implementation of traffic management schemes, ensuring they meet legal & safety standards.
2. Ensure installations are compliant with legal requirements, contractual specifications, and best practice standards while minimising disruption.
3. Act as the main point of contact for site operations, conduct regular site checks, and report on-site activity, incidents, and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
* NHSS 12ab Traffic Safety Control Officer/Traffic Safety Supervisor (TSCO/TSS) qualification.
* Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
* Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
* Valid safety critical medical certificate.
* Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
* Positive, "can-do" attitude.
* Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.

Hours and Compensation
Hours: 48 hours per week, including day and night shifts. Overtime is available. This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
Salary: Up to £217.28 per shift, depending on qualifications, experience, and location, plus benefits and overtime opportunities.
