Purpose and scope of the role
Working with the Resource & Facilities Managers, the Resource & Facilities Coordinator role joins resource planning, equipment and facilities to support delivery of Tetra Tech’s occupational health services from the Mansfield Woodhouse office. You will allocate clinicians to projects using the scheduling system, manage clinical equipment (repair, calibration, logistics), order consumables, complete Subject Access Requests and conduct some H&S checks. Typical projects range from single-site contracts to multi-site health surveillance programmes; you will work across a team of operational, clinical and commercial colleagues supporting contracts of varying size and value. The role is desk-based with occasional travel between sites.
Your impact in this position
Working as part of the Resource & Facilities team in the short term, you will help improve equipment readiness reducing delays to client delivery. Over the medium term you will help optimise staff utilisation and contribute to cost efficiencies across programmes. Long term, working within the Tetra Tech organization this role offers development into wider service delivery roles, exposure to significant national contracts and meaningful influence on process improvement and client satisfaction.
Core Capabilities Required For Success
* Resource planning: Ability to allocate staff using scheduling systems, maintain accurate records and ensure H&S traceability.
* Equipment & facilities management: Managing medical/technical assets, scheduling calibration, coordinating repairs and controlling consumables.
* Client and stakeholder communication: Professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and external clients.
* Administration & systems competence: Strong Office 365 skills, IT skills and data accuracy.
* Commercial awareness & problem solving: Understand contract scope and costs, identify to Resource & Facilities Managers opportunities to reduce waste and commercial or resourcing risks.
Qualifications and Training
Expected: GCSEs or equivalent, proficient IT skills, full driving licence preferred.
Desirable: Experience in occupational health or clinical administration and familiarity with scheduling systems.
Work patterns & location
Permanent full-time role (37.5 hours) based at Mansfield Woodhouse. Occasional travel to other operational sites as required.
