Overview
We are looking for a passionate professional to help us tell our story internally, with partners, residents and media.
Work alongside and support the work of senior colleagues to develop and deliver key communications strategies for the organisation. Managing the delivery of the agreed Communications Strategy.
Support the Head of Communications to provide high level communications advice to the political and officer leadership, elected members, and officers on communications and reputational management.
Deputise for the Head of Service in providing public relations advice to the organisation and in public relations management of the service area.
Lead a proactive and forward planned approach to external agencies and media relations and ensuring our profile is on a local, regional and national stage.
Support in the delivery of culture change across the organisation, to develop a comms first approach, and a digital-first approach wherever practicable.
Responsibilities
