Job Role:
CNC Fanuc Programmer / Setter / Operator (Milling)
Location or Commutable from:
Atherstone, Warwickshire (commutable from Nuneaton, Tamworth, Hinckley, Coventry)
Shift:
Days – Monday to Thursday. Open to lates if wanted.
39 hours per week over 4 days
Every Friday off or optional Friday overtime paid at 1.5x
Pay Rate / Salary:
Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)

The Company:
A well-established, family-run precision engineering business based in the Midlands, supplying high-quality machined components across a range of demanding sectors. The company operates from a fully equipped facility with extensive CNC turning, CNC milling, inspection, fabrication, and finishing capabilities allowing complete end-to-end manufacturing in-house.

The Position:
Due to continued growth and secured contracts, the company is now recruiting for an experienced Fanuc CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator.
Responsibilities include:
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc Controls
• Producing precision components from engineering drawings
• Working with low-volume, high-value components
• Editing programs at the machine and optimising cycle times
• Setting tooling, offsets, and proving out first-offs
• Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
• Working closely with inspection using CMM/FARO arm where required
Machines include a wide range of CNC turning and milling centres, including twin-spindle lathes, large-bed machines, and multi-axis capability.
The Candidate:
• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator using Fanuc controls
• Strong background in precision engineering
• Confident working from detailed engineering drawings
• Experience in both turning and milling is advantageous (but not essential)
• Able to work independently and take ownership of jobs
• Open to day shift or night shift (flexibility available depending on preference)
Licence / Certification Required:
• No formal certifications required
• Apprenticeship or time-served background desirable
