Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience of working with and supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, such as autism and complex communication needs.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (Willingness for one).

Responsibilities
* Leading and managing the SEND provision across the school
* Developing and implementing the school's SEND policy
* Managing a team of teaching assistants and support staff
* Conducting assessments and writing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Liaising with external agencies and parents
* Providing professional guidance to colleagues on teaching students with SEND
* Monitoring the progress of students with SEND
* Organising and delivering professional development for staff
* Ensuring the school meets all statutory requirements for SEND
* Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
