Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable to the Portfolio Project Manager for the successful delivery of all aspects of your assigned projects. You will set the project execution strategy in agreement with the client PPM and use a cross-functional project team to deliver the project safely, aligning with company policies and procedures, and achieving goals within the agreed baseline.
Please note: Potential candidates must be able to obtain and retain CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) security clearance. This requires a minimum of 3 years residence in the UK.
Responsibilities
1. Have a detailed understanding of a wide range of project management competencies, capable of evaluating and applying them within a complex project environment, managing multiple complex projects.
2. Deliver projects and achieve their goals and objectives.
3. Collaborate with Technical Leads or Responsible Engineers and other stakeholders to define and understand project requirements and objectives. Ensure these are translated into an agreed scope of work with appropriate resources, aligned with time, cost, quality, and priority requirements.
4. Possess knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, installation/commissioning management, and commercial contracting.
5. Have experience with brown-field projects.
6. Champion sustainability, safety, health, and environment by prioritizing personal safety and wellbeing, and supporting environmental and community wellbeing.
7. Act with integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way.
8. Maintain a customer-focused approach, striving for excellence by understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.
Essential Qualifications
* APMP Project Management Qualification or equivalent.
* Comprehensive understanding of project management competencies and experience managing complex projects.
* Knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, installation/commissioning management, and commercial contracting.
* Experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience with brown-field projects.
* Degree in engineering or a related field, and a chartered engineer (or equivalent professional qualification), though not essential.
