As the Apprentice Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Site Operations Team, responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site throughout the delivery of the project.
You will study towards a Civil Engineering Degree one day a week at university and work four days a week on site.
Responsibilities
* Understand and comply with Company Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Sustainability Systems and Policies
* Provide assistance to the Site Engineers in the accurate setting out and control of the works, taking every opportunity to undertake setting out under the supervision of their Section/Senior Engineer
* Gain experience of Company HSEQ systems and participate in tasks that are described
* Gain experience in materials sampling and testing
* Any other duties assigned by your line manager for the benefit of the site
Essential Qualifications
* A passion for construction
* Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship – Civil Engineering BSc (Hons)
* A Level BBC - Must include Maths and preferably a Science in either Chemistry or Physics (UCAS points: 112)
* T-level (Merit or above) in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning. (UCAS points: 120)
* BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. (UCAS points: 128)
* BTEC Level 3 National Diploma D*D* in an Engineering subject area, with a minimum of merit in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. (UCAS points: 112)
* Civil Engineering Technician level 3 apprenticeship DD (UCAS points: 96) alongside grade Pass or Distinction at EPA
* Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above). Some universities require grade 5 maths minimum.
