We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Braintree who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Art and Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, assess and provide meaningful feedback to support pupil progress
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
Work collaboratively with the Art and Design department on curriculum planning and enrichment
Promote a positive learning environment that encourages reading, critical thinking and confident communication
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Art and Design Teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design
A reflective and committed classroom practitioner focused on pupil progress
Confident and effective behaviour management skills
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply - full induction support available
