Panel Wireman 1 month Rolling Contract Based in Bedfordshire Monday - Friday 10 Hour Shifts £22ph Outside IR35 I am looking for a skilled Switchgear Builder / Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team who will be responsible for building, wiring, and testing low and medium voltage switchgear systems used in critical infrastructure projects across the UK. If this is you, please contact Adil Shaikh on (phone number removed) or email The day-to-day responsibilities of the Switchgear Builder will include the following: Build switchgear panels from engineering drawings and schematics Install components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and busbars Carry out panel wiring to a high standard using wiring diagrams Terminate, crimp, and label cables neatly and accurately Perform basic electrical testing (continuity, insulation resistance, etc.) Work closely with engineers and inspectors to resolve build issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment The Switchgear Builder must possess the following skills & experience: Proven experience in panel wiring, switchgear building within an industrial environment Understanding schematics and layout drawings Competent with hand tools and electrical testing equipment NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) preferred Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members The benefits of this position: Monday to Friday 10 hour shifts Outside IR35 To be considered for this role please either hit the 'Apply' button on this site or email your CV directly to I can also be contacted directly on (phone number removed).
