HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Handsworth Location: Handsworth Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) part-time available We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Handsworth seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join their team from September. This school, based in the heart of Handsworth, offers a supportive and diverse environment where pupils thrive. The Ideal HLTA Candidate Will Have: A recognised HLTA qualification or a Level 4 or above child-related qualification Previous experience supporting learning within a primary school setting Confidence in leading small group work and covering lessons in the teacher's absence Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development as an HLTA Please note, if you hold only a Level 2 or Level 3 child-related qualification, unfortunately, you will not be considered for this HLTA role.
