<div><h3>Night Nurse – Primary Care Team</h3><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stafford, a category C Prison located in Staffordshire. HMP Stafford has a capacity of 741 males.</p><h3>Hours</h3><ul><li>This role is 37.5 hours per week</li><li>Monday - Sunday service</li><li>7pm - 7.30am - NIGHTS</li><li>4 week rolling rota</li></ul><p>Please keep in mind as an night nurse there will be a requirement to do a day shift on rotation for ongoing professional development and support.</p><p>This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,559 per annum depending on experience.</p><h3>How will we support you?</h3><ul><li>Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course</li><li>Competency framework</li><li>Regional and national career development opportunities</li><li>Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs</li><li>Support from the wider team</li></ul><p><b>Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and, due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks</b></p><h3>Main duties of the job</h3><ul><li>Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions</li><li>Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening</li><li>Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.</li><li>Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.</li><li>Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference</li><li>Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders</li><li>Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.</li><li>Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications required</h3><ul><li>Evidence of Continued Professional Development</li><li>Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working</li><li>A non-judgmental and compassionate approach</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment is desirable (not essential)</li></ul><h3>Disclosure and Barring Service Check</h3><p>This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and, as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.</p><h3>Salary</h3><p>£34,428 – £41,559 per annum, depending on experience</p></div>
