Our Healthcare Assistants perform tasks involving direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working as part of the ward team and assisting with nursing procedures according to policies.
You will maintain patients' dignity and self-respect, ensuring a high standard of care. Although based in a specific ward, you may be required to work in different areas within the hospital.
You are accountable for delivering the highest standard of care, promoting patient safety, effective care, and a positive patient experience throughout their journey.
The role involves working a combination of days, nights, weekends, including Bank Holidays and Christmas Day, with shifts as follows:
* Early – 07:15 to 15:15
* Late – 12:15 to 20:15
* Night – 19:45 to 07:45
* Long Day – 07:15 to 20:15
