* Take an autonomous role in delivering the Lets Talk 2 intervention in line with the treatment manual and study protocol, under the supervision of a clinical psychologist/psychological therapist.
* Establish a trusting and supportive relationship with participants, recognising personal limits and boundaries, seeking supervisory support when needed, and maintaining confidentiality.
* Maintain high levels of engagement with participants.
* Possess a highly developed working knowledge of the intervention manual and principles of peer support.
* Attend and contribute to study fidelity rating meetings, supervision, and regular training sessions with study staff.
* Keep accurate records, updating patient records with trial progress and completing the recruitment database.
* Manage time effectively, planning and organising diaries and sessions with participants.
* Follow standard operational procedures for the trial and AWP NHS Trust policy regarding safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children.
* Provide participants with support in clinic settings or at home across a large geographical area, requiring extensive travel and a valid driving licence.
* Attend co-reflection (supervision) meetings, demonstrating self‑awareness and balancing personal and professional needs.
* Attend research team meetings and training at the lead site (Manchester) to maintain blinding and support research assistants in blinded assessments.
* Carry out administrative duties related to the project.
* Work within guidelines set out by the Data Protection Act, the Code of Ethics, and full understanding of confidentiality issues.
* Adhere to all relevant Trust policies and procedures, contributing to consistent and safe practices.
