Overview
Our clients, located in Walsall, are looking to take on an Accounts Assistant within their busy finance office on a temporary to permanent basis. Our clients are hoping to take on someone with roughly 1-2 years' worth of finance experience, who has been exposed to a wide range of accounting duties. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has been working in finance for a few years, and is now looking to take on a similar role that will allow them to progress further in their career.
This role will involve a wide range of duties within an Accounts Assistant role, this includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Microsoft excel, as they will be required to work with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. Although this is not essential, experience in the retail sector would be a beneficial.
Skills Required
1. Have 1-2 years' experience in an account's assistant role, working directly with accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and reconciliation duties.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, having experience with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
3. Be an organised, detail-focused person who is capable of multi-tasking, as this position will involve managing multiple tasks at once.
