The school prides itself on the supportive and enriching environment it provides for its pupils and would love an enthusiastic LSA to join the team.
* Opportunity to earn £90- £110 per day (dependent on experience)
* Excellent location with transport links between Stockport, Congleton and Stoke-on-Trent
* Full-time role starting in September
Responsibilities:
* Providing 1-1 or small group support to students in the classroom, helping to implement learning activities and assist with their progress
* Supporting students with specific learning needs and adapt activities to suit their requirements
* Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation
* Help the class teacher in managing behaviours, ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
What we are looking for:
* Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A good understanding of child development and different learning needs
* A relevant qualification in education or child development (e.g. level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential
* Safeguarding Training (must be completed through Teaching Personnel)
