Level 2 SME (Internet gateway security – Netskope & ZTNA)
6‑month contract initially, with extensions. Based: onsite in Coventry.
Rate: £400‑£500 per day via Umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities
Public Key Infrastructure
* Work with project team and stakeholders for design and build of a new internal Public Key Infrastructure, potentially quantum‑proof.
* Analyze gaps in the existing PKI and define solutions for the new PKI.
* Build and integrate the PKI with a new Certificate Life Cycle Management solution.
* Understand and integrate cloud Hardware Security Modules with Certificate Authorities.
* Define certificate template requirements for internal PKI consumer services.
Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
* Define infrastructure requirements and rule sets for a future VPN‑ZTNA solution.
* Build the necessary infrastructure to support ZTNA.
* Discover VPN‑dependent applications and plan firewall changes as needed.
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and the application support team to deliver the ZTNA solution.
Networks and Other Activities
* Work with the product team to understand requirements and discovery activities for network segmentation with a kill switch for cybersecurity.
* Collaborate with the networks team for any network change requirements or issues related to product teams.
* Define Proxy Access Control file requirements and raise changes with the networks team.
* Coordinate with the enterprise compute team for deployment, upgrades, and maintenance of internet security tools on endpoints.
* Manage EntraID enterprise apps required for the internet security tool (SSO, SCIM, IDP features).
Key Skills & Experience – Internet Gateway Security
* Build internet security policies to protect corporate user endpoints.
* Define, enable, and review internet security policies and traffic steering configurations in SG and CASB tools.
* Understand data exfiltration risks and build DLP policies.
* Work closely with Security Operations to enhance security requirements and apply ad‑hoc denies to risky sites.
* Apply deep knowledge of SSL inspection to define bypass policies without compromising security.
* Engage end users on website exceptions per SOC requirements, resolving DLP/SSL inspection issues.
* Administer the Netskope tenant comprehensively.
