Retail Motor Claims Technical Strategy Leader
Join AXA UK as our Retail Motor Claims Technical Strategy Leader. You will shape the future of Motor Claims through technical strategy, driving indemnity improvement and fostering technical excellence.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead developing technical strategies for Motor Claims, focusing on indemnity performance and technical integrity.
* Support the Head of Technical and operational teams to analyse performance and implement best practices.
* Represent claims in technical forums relevant to Motor Claims, influencing strategy and approach.
* Collaborate with QA teams to identify leakages and areas for process optimisation in Motor Claims.
* Participate in large loss reviews, trend analysis, and QBRs to drive continuous improvement in Motor Claims.
* Act as a final technical referral point for the Motor claims team, providing guidance on complex claims issues and technical best practices.
What you’ll bring
* Good knowledge of the Motor Claims market and ability to identify opportunities.
* Deep understanding of Motor Claims technical strategy development and processes.
* Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to influence to Director level.
* Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII or equivalent).
You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
