Golf Operations Assistants support the senior golf team with
the smooth running of golf services, particularly bag drop, driving range and
practice facilities areas.
This role requires cross-departmental communications and a
close working relationship with the pro-shop, food & beverage and resort
services teams on the delivery of seamless 5-star guest experiences for
golfers, residents, visitors, members and guests.
The role operates on a shift-based system and hours of work
vary in line with the needs of the business.
Afternoon and evening work required along with rotational weekend
working.
Contract: Seasonal (April to October), flexible hours
Reports to: Director of Golf
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide a warm and welcoming environment for all
patrons
* Assist with the day-to-day running of golf
courses and practice facility activities including starter services and range
duties
* Support the bag drop operation and rental hire
services
* Respond to guest enquiries in a friendly and
efficient manner
* Communicate operational and management
information to golfers as required
* Promote and upsell golf club activities and
services where possible
* Any duties required by management to ensure the
delivery of 5-star services
Qualifying Criteria:
* Previous golf or sports hospitality experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident and friendly personality
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer
services
