LCP Delta are looking for a Head of Storage to play a pivotal role in advancing our established presence in the energy storage market, facilitating accelerated growth in energy storage revenues while supporting the sector in becoming a thriving part of the European energy transition.
This is a great opportunity to:
* Lead a team, driving its strategy, business development, commercials and activity
* Establish yourself and LCP Delta as a leader in the European energy storage sector
* Make a positive impact on the transition and support the growth of a crucial pillar to decarbonisation
About LCP Delta’s storage offerings
LCP Delta has established itself as a leader in storage, with:
* A strong battery revenue forecasting practice, supporting buy and sell sides in energy storage transactions in the GB market. This is now available on both a consulting basis and through STOREcast, a software-as-a-service offering.
* A leading position in the GB intra-day and day-ahead data and analytics market through our Enact platform, enabling us to support the storage sector in optimising battery revenues and benchmarking optimiser performance.
* Through STOREtrack, a project database of over 3,000 storage projects across Europe (both those in place and those under development), with a rich array of information on each project.
* Through the Energy Storage Research Service, a subscription research product that provides insight and analysis into how energy storage is growing across different European markets. The European Energy Storage Market Monitor, published with the European Association for Energy Storage, is published under this Service.
* An excellent track record in providing evidence and analysis to the GB government to support the development of storage-related policy.
LCP Delta has now extended its revenue forecasting capability from GB and Ireland-only to covering continental Europe. We have already supported due diligence on a major energy storage investment in Benelux and have worked with one of the leading lenders to analyse opportunities in the Spanish market.
The essence of this role is to drive a leadership position for LCP Delta in the European energy storage sector, developing and executing a powerful go-to-market strategy to rapidly grow our impact, revenues and position in the European energy storage sector.
What will you be doing?
* Building LCP Delta’s position as a leading authority in European energy storage through strategic messaging, networking, and thought leadership
* Leading business development efforts, from winning new accounts to nurturing existing ones, while overseeing lead generation and relationship management
* Taking charge of storage-related revenue across subscription products and consulting, managing a diverse pipeline of opportunities
* Developing and executing comprehensive strategies and roadmaps for our storage offerings, informed by market insights and competitor analysis
* Ensuring consistency and quality across our different energy storage activities
* Have overall responsibility for the strategy and direction of our energy storage activities
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial individual; we are able to offer an exciting progression route for successful individuals.
What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
* You should have an established network amongst the GB and European energy storage sector and ideally in the wider energy transition space
* Be recognised as an expert in the energy storage sector
* Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Have an excellent understanding of the energy storage market, including its key issues, opportunities, and challenges
