I'm working with a high-performing investment business looking for a Business Applications Analyst to operate across data, technology, and front-office teams. This is a hands-on role with real ownership not a documentation-heavy BA position.
You'll be working closely with portfolio managers, traders, and reporting teams to solve complex problems, improve systems, and deliver scalable solutions.
What you'll be doing:
* Partnering with the business to understand and challenge requirements
* Turning complex needs into practical, scalable solutions
* Supporting delivery of system enhancements and projects
* Owning issues end-to-end, including 3rd line support across investment systems
* Driving process improvements, automation, and data quality
What we're looking for:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* Strong SQL and confidence working with data
* Solid business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills
* Understanding of the SDLC and testing
* Clear, confident communication
Nice to have:
* Asset management or financial services experience
* Exposure to OMS, trading, accounting, or performance systems
* Power BI, SSRS, Python or similar
* Any cloud exposure (Azure/AWS)
