Overview
We are looking for 2 new teaching assistants for the local Redditch area to start as soon as possible. As the UK’s leading SEND specialist staffing provider, Axcis Education is working with a local setting which is looking for additional support staff to start in the new academic year.
Role details
This role will be a full-time role, working Monday to Friday (08:30 – 15:30). These roles are split between primary ages & secondary; you will be placed within a section of the setting which matches your skillset and experience. Although initially through Axcis, the setting is seeking to appoint on a permanent basis as long as both parties are happy. At Axcis, we have successfully placed multiple permanent staff into the setting in the last year, creating a wonderful start to the next step of the careers of many wonderful teaching assistants or teachers.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to individuals with special educational needs (SEND) as part of the school team.
* Be placed within a primary or secondary section that matches your skillset and experience.
* Receive guidance, training, and support throughout your time with Axcis and the setting.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting individuals with SEND.
* Prior experience with social emotional mental health (SEMH) is beneficial but not compulsory.
Pay and support
Pay is on a daily rate starting from £89 per day PAYE, dependent on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications. Pay is arranged on a weekly basis. You will be supported by your local consultant who is based nearby and by ongoing training to support you through any adaptation process.
