Responsibilities
* Direct a small team of managers to deliver the online delivery operation of the supermarket, taking accountability for every delivery going out on time.
* Review data and ensure compliance with processes and procedures in a fast‑paced KPIs‑driven environment.
* Plan for upcoming key trading activities and events in collaboration with the store leadership team.
* Assume full accountability for the store overnight, role‑modeling and coaching for high standards and efficiency.
* Manage people responsibilities, including pay, scheduling, training, communication and employee relations such as performance, absence and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications & Experience
* Passionate leader who consistently sets high standards for customers and colleagues, growing the team to match.
* Experience managing managers in a fast‑paced, performance‑focused environment.
* Comfortable managing alone in the absence of senior management.
* Strong focus on efficiency, engagement and delivering high performance.
* Excellent data literacy, able to interpret KPIs and drive improvement.
* Commitment to inclusivity, building an inclusive team and workplace.
* Able to handle disciplinaries, performance issues and employee relations up to dismissal.
* Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences across complex operations.
* Experience in operational environments such as retail, hospitality or food service, owning departmental performance.
* Proven success in improving KPIs from sales, stock availability to customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.
* Strong judgment and fairness in managing sensitive people matters.
* Evidence of leading change and embedding new systems or ways of working.
