Head of Bioanalysis My client is a specialist Contract Research Organisation (CRO) based in North Yorkshire providing high quality services within regulated Bioanalysis, to support drug development with external Pharmaceutical clients, within both small and large molecule. We are currently seeking a Head of Bioanalysis within pre-clinical and clinical studies, to lead Chromatographic services on a Technical, Regulatory and People front. The role will hold a particular focus on LCMS/MS studies, and will form part of the site leadership team. The main responsibilities of the Head of Bioanalysis role will be: Overall leadership of the Bioanalytical technical process, encompassing studies within LCMS/MS. Acting as a Technical SME within the areas of LCMS/MS and associated regulatory areas. Overview of the technical process and method lifecycle. Development of the Study Team (Study Directors, Scientists); personal/technical development, coupled with encouraging accountability. Future workforce succession planning. Ensure a fully compliant process with a right first time approach; ensure full readiness for audits and regulatory inspections. This role will suit an individual with strong leadership experience coupled with strong technical and regulatory standard knowledge within LCMSMS Bioanalytical studies. You will have operated at a senior level, but still working closely and visual with your team. You will likely have: A strong background working in a regulated Bioanalytical laboratory. Recognised credibility on both an internal level, client level and industry level. Strong technical leadership experience within LCMSMS. A people person who can both support staff, whilst also encouraging accountability and staff realisation of full potential. This role will be an onsite position for the full week with occasional adhoc WFH.
