Job Title: CE and I Control System Design Engineer
Contract Model: Inside IR35
Duration: 6 Months
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in Warrington)
Hourly Rate: GBP 50p/hour
Overview
Be part of the design team, supporting the delivery and checking of Programmable Electronic System (PES) based control system designs and updates to meet functional and business needs.
Role Responsibilities
* Designing CE and I control systems for nuclear facilities
* Producing engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, and calculations
* Supporting projects from design through installation and commissioning
* Providing guidance to junior engineers
Required Attributes
* Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
* Minimum 3+ years experience with PES (Protection and Electrical Systems)
* Experience in CE and I or control system design, ideally in nuclear or other related industries
* Ability to produce clear engineering documentation, including schematics, specifications, and calculations
* Experience supporting commissioning teams and providing guidance to junior engineers
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Attributes
* Minimum 5+ years experience with PES (Protection and Electrical Systems)
