Data Analyst - Permanent / Full time role - Hybrid Working (3 times a week in the office based in Birchwood, Warrington) - £40-45K (May extend to £50K for Exceptional candidate) I am currently representing a burgeoning and rapidly expanding Ecommerce business that is quickly becoming a well renown brand name. As part of their growth, they are looking for 2 new Data Analysts to help own their date functions both internally and externally. They have just hired a new BI Developer as they are embarking on a new Power BI project, so its the perfect time to join. Located in Birchwood, Warrington this is a Hybrid role where you can work in the office 3 days a week and 2 at home if you so wish. The company have ambitious targets and are ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 1/2 years experience (but more will always be valued) so this person can hit the ground running. There is going to be a big focus on this department as data is seen as critical to some of there next growth so there is also the chance to progress your career if that is something you wish to do. Duties Support the Ecommerce team in the delivery of the ecommerce and business targets. Design and create data models which can be used to drive several reports guiding us towards our business strategy. Interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets from multiple data sources. Work closely with the Trading Insights Manager to prioritise business reporting needs. Take ownership of mining, cleaning, and modelling data from multiple systems. Create reporting dashboards based on business priorities within our data visualization system. Ensure a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained throughout all work carried out. Work with all departments of the business to provide highly detailed, actionable insights to allow each team to drive forward data decisions to create high impact Provide clear and concise findings from data analysed and feed back to the Trading Insights Manager and wider team if required. Essential Skills Experience with using Power BI / Tableau to provide insight. Advanced Microsoft Excel user. Experience in using MySQL or similar RDS systems to create queries and data models. Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels. Good attention to detail. Ability to communicate detailed, complex data insights to key stakeholders in an understandable way A get stuck in attitude. Desirable Skills Experience in Data Warehousing Experience using Shopify. Experience working with analytical languages such as Python. Experience in Cloud Technology Basic understanding of Data Science.
