The Headteacher and Governing Board wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Before and After School Activities Lead to be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the school’s before and after school provision; Little Fishers. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop this provision in school. Candidates must have experience of working with children and a desire to ensure that the setting provides a welcoming and happy environment for children who access it. You will be committed to safeguarding pupils and supporting the school’s good working relationships with parents. We expect everyone in our community to share our Mission of putting Jesus at the heart of everything that we do, and to support and celebrate our Catholic character and ethos. As part of our team you will need to be flexible, reliable and dedicated. You should also be caring, trustworthy and an excellent role model for our pupils with clear motivation to work in a school that seeks to be the best that it can be. First Aid Qualification desirable. The post will involve: • Supporting registration and dismissal of pupils safely into and from the setting • Leading the after school team • Overseeing the provision to ensure children receive the best care possible • Planning and leading activities to be carried out with children within the setting • Upholding health and safety policy within the setting • Supporting children with their play, toileting and hygiene needs. • Preparing food for the children Candidates should have: • A desire to make a difference to children • A proven track record of keeping children safe • The ability to follow school policies and procedures • A good sense of humour and know how to make after school fun • A willingness to go the extra mile Visits to the School are warmly welcomed, please contact the school office on 01926 427497 to arrange an appointment.
