Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, along with strong leadership skills to manage a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality while ensuring the highest standards of food safety.
Responsibilities
* Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food production activities to ensure timely service.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
* Develop new menu items and specials that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet guest expectations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Highly skilled North Indian Chef.
* Minimum 3 year's experience.
* Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Supervising experience, demonstrating effective team management abilities.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen environment.
* Excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Previous experience in food production and cooking within a fast-paced environment is essential.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests.
