Quality & Environment Advisor Altera Recruitment Group is partnered with a well-established UK industrial energy business operating across multiple processing sites, supporting critical low carbon infrastructure and long term environmental performance across the sector. The position offers a good balance of autonomy, site engagement, and influence, with direct involvement in environmental standards, compliance improvement, and supporting operational teams across the business. Responsibilities of the Quality & Environment Advisor include * Support site teams with environmental compliance, audits, and day to day quality and environmental matters across multiple locations * Maintain and improve environmental management system documentation, reporting processes, and internal records * Produce monthly environmental KPI data and assist with internal and external reporting requirements * Provide practical support during audits, regulatory visits, and compliance related site activity * Deliver guidance and training to site teams while supporting wider group improvement projects Requirements * Previous experience in environmental, quality, HSEQ or compliance within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy environment * Good working knowledge of audits, management systems, and environmental legislation * Confident communicator able to work independently and build relationships across site teams * Strong organisational and reporting skills with good IT capability, particularly in Excel and Office systems * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to operational sites when required What you'll get in return * Salary of £39,000 £3,000 car allowance * Remote working * Private medical * Additional benefits to be discussed This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to operations, likes variety, and wants to play a visible part in improving standards across a growing industrial business
