Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer or Consultant to join our Professional Services Delivery team. As a Salesforce Consultant at Phase 3, you will use your Salesforce knowledge and experience to deliver
Sage People projects
– a leading HR solution built on the Salesforce platform. You will support the consultancy and services delivery at Phase 3 by supporting projects and initiatives led by our consultancy team, ensuring effective and excellent delivery. Consultants take the lead on technical delivery, supported by Project Managers and Lead Consultants.
This is a client-facing, end-to-end consulting role, supporting customers through the full project lifecycle: from scoping and design through configuration, testing, and go-live. You'll bring your Salesforce skills, strong communication, and consulting mindset, while we provide training on the HR domain and the specific Sage People product.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and support client meetings, gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions in line with project plans.
2. Configure Salesforce/Sage People solutions, manage the full implementation cycle (design, build, testing, deployment), and advise on system integrations.
3. Own and manage test plans, conduct internal QA, and guide clients through user acceptance testing.
4. Deliver client training, produce supporting materials, and ensure all configuration work is fully documented and compliant with change control processes.
5. Assist clients with data preparation and migration, and use reporting tools to create and manage analytics solutions.
6. Work with Project Managers and Lead Consultants to ensure successful delivery, manage your own and junior consultants' workloads, and contribute expertise in specialist areas.
7. Participate in client groups, industry events, and internal knowledge-sharing, while supporting and coaching colleagues.
8. Identify opportunities for added value, ensure accurate timesheet/activity recording, and contribute to wider business development activities.
9. Undertake training to develop expertise in Salesforce/Sage People and stay updated with system and industry developments.
Essential Requirements
* Proven knowledge and experience of the Salesforce platform (admin, consultant, or developer level)
* Contextual awareness, particularly of HR and the role of systems and payroll teams, ideally in more than one sector
* Familiarity with at least one Salesforce or Sage People configurations
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Understanding of the project life cycle of system implementations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Growth-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn HR systems.
* Ability and willingness to travel if required although client travel is minimal
