Job Description:
Communication Officer - Part Time
We are seeking a confident and creative Communication Officer to manage day-to-day communications and promote services, events and engagement across digital and traditional platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and update social media accounts and website content
2. Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, press releases and campaigns
3. Liaise with media and respond to public enquiries
4. Support and promote events, consultations and community engagement activities
5. Monitor and report on communication performance
6. Maintain communications and marketing policies
Requirements:
7. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or a related subject ideally
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Strong knowledge of social media, websites and digital tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, Microsoft)
10. Creative, proactive and well-organised
Pay & Hours:
11. £15.30 per hour
12. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
13. 22.5 hours per week – 9am – 5pm
14. Weekly pay every Friday
