Base pay range
A Civil Service pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%.
Responsibilities
* Database Analysis: Interrogate NDNAD and PNC systems to identify and investigate data discrepancies.
* Investigative Reporting: Research anomalies and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actions to uphold data integrity.
* Data Correction: Implement necessary amendments to ensure accurate DNA profile loading and record consistency.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with police officers, support staff, and forensic experts to resolve anomalies, including identity issues and administrative errors.
* Advisory Role: Provide guidance on biometric data retention and legislation, including the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
* Information Requests: Support responses to Parliamentary Questions and Freedom of Information requests.
* System Transition Support: Contribute to the transition from PNC to the Law Enforcement Data Service (LEDS), including user acceptance testing (UAT).
