We are currently seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as Companion Animal Account Managers. The successful candidate will be located along the M5 corridor between Bristol and Birmingham/Newport/Herefordshire. The primary goal of this role is to increase market share and stimulate market growth for our companion animal portfolio by building long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices in the designated geographical area
* Understand the needs and requirements of veterinary practices and provide them with tailored solutions from our companion animal portfolio
* Achieve regional sales targets in line with the overall business unit strategy
* Identify new business opportunities and work towards expanding market share
* Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver exceptional customer experience
* Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to develop competitive strategies and recommendations
* Effectively manage and prioritize accounts and activities to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction
* Continuously update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using our CRM system
Requirements:
* Proven experience in account management or sales
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the veterinary market in designated region
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
* Goal‑oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the designated region
