Chilled Warehouse Operative
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (shift-based)
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
About the Role
We're looking for an energetic and reliable Chilled Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Tewkesbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy and teamwork.
You'll be working in a chilled environment, helping to pick and prepare customer orders, load delivery vehicles, and keep everything running smoothly. It's a physical but rewarding role, perfect for someone who likes to stay active and get the job done.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Rotate and replenish stock to maintain freshness and availability.
Load vehicles safely, ensuring orders are secured for transport.
Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
Follow all health & safety procedures and report any issues.
Work closely with colleagues across departments to meet deadlines.
Take on any other tasks as needed to support the team.
What We're Looking For
Great attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
A positive, can-do attitude with good communication skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable with physical work and working in a chilled environment.
Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to work shifts and Saturdays.
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous experience in a warehouse, chilled, or food production environment.
Knowledge of safe working practices.
A forklift licence would be a bonus.
