Our client, an investment bank, is looking to hire into its Technology Investment Banking team in London at Analyst, Associate and Vice President level.
The team supports execution of M&A and ECM assignments in the UK and Continental Europe, working across Technology sub-segments including Software, Internet, Industrial Technology & Electronics, and Tech-Enabled Services.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of presentation materials for new business pitches or client projects
* Research and presentation of company / industry information, including financial data
* Financial modelling, including common valuation models and LBO analyses
* Financial analysis using Bloomberg / Thomson Eikon / Excel / CapIQ
* Written reports and board papers
* Creating marketing presentations
* Working with compliance to ensure adequate client and transaction take-on procedures are followed, including drafting take-on papers for internal approval committees
* Maintaining internal databases, including IPO and M&A information
* Monitoring selected client and peer group market news
* Working with deal teams on client mandates
Requirements
* Relevant investment banking / corporate finance experience
* Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work across multiple activities while maintaining quality and accuracy
* A sufficiently technical qualification would be advantageous
Additional information
* Fluency in French, German or a Scandinavian language would be viewed favourably, but is not essential
* Title and level will depend on experience
