Job Summary
The Care Worker plays a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. The Care Worker will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of care services.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, ensuring all data is entered correctly into relevant systems.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist in the administration of medication as required, following established protocols.
* Organise and manage schedules for client appointments and activities.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
* Perform clerical tasks such as filing, typing reports, and managing correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
* Utilise QuickBooks for basic financial record-keeping as necessary.
Skills
* Proven office experience with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient computer skills, including data entry, typing, and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
* Administrative experience with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Excellent phone etiquette to communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail in all clerical tasks to ensure accuracy in documentation.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while possessing the necessary administrative skills to support effective care delivery.

Pay: £12.21-£16.64 per hour
