People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembler with FLT Counterbalance to join our well-established client based in Cheslyn Hay, West Midlands. Day-to-Day Duties
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Assembling heavy-duty goods using hand and power tools
• Conducting pre-use FLT inspections and reporting any faults to management
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and correctly stowing pallets
• Checking quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking, organising, and storing incoming goods
• Preparing and organising stock for dispatch and deliveries
• Moving goods around the warehouse as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Previous experience as an Assembler or working with hand and power tools
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Good communication skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong spatial awareness
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment
Training Provided
• Job-specific training provided
• Ongoing support throughout the assignment
